The countdown to the 2024 Pittsburgh Beerfest is on! All the best beers will be going down at The David L. Lawrence Convention Center on January 26th and 27th!
Forget about being bored during the winter – this one has you covered! You’ve done well during Dry January. Time to reward yourself.
Attending Pittsburgh Beerfest
Each day will have different sessions. The event kicks off with Friday’s evening session from 7:30pm – 11pm. Saturday will have a day session from 1pm – 4:30pm and an evening session from 7:30pm – 11pm.
You’ll be able to sample “more than 150 local and craft brews, as well as new craft wineries and distilleries!” There are different ticket options too. Let’s take a look!
Regular Admission
With this ticket, you’ll get three hours of event time, a 5 oz. souvenir beer mug, and open sampling of 200+ craft beers, seltzers, and cocktails. Solid option!
Early Admission
If you want to beat the crowd, you can choose the early admission option. This gets you one additional hour ahead of event time (four hours total).
You’ll also receive an 8 oz. souvenir beer mug, along with the sampling. This is also a good option because some beers will run out due to high demand!
Connoisseur Reception
Like the early admission, you’ll get one additional hour of event time. But with this option, you’ll get a souvenir glass (very nice!), ballroom reception with catered appetizer bites, and the open sampling. Classy!
Designated Driver
If you have a driver that will be coming with you (that’s awesome!), they have a package for this too. D.D.’s must be over the age of 21.
The non-drinking ticket gets your D.D. into the event. This includes a $5 food truck coupon, along with free bottled water and soft drinks at the D.D. booth.
And you can enter with either early or regular admission friends. Very cool!
Connoisseur Designated Driver
This is for advanced purchase only. The non-drinking ticket includes everything from the designated driver ticket, but also food options in the connoisseur reception area. It’s a good way to treat your driver!
Other Important Info
There’s usually a long line to get in, but it moves fast. Don’t forget your ID, no matter your age!
According to the site, there will be some food booths with a “variety of great food and non-alcoholic beverages.”
Craft beer, ciders, seltzers, and liquor will also be at the event. There will also be gluten-free beers and several ciders available. You can view the full list of breweries and brews online!
