Rebecca is a Pittsburgh transplant of five years with experience in content writing, social media management, public relations, web editing, and much more. Her passion for food inspired her to create an Instagram based food blog that shares a combination of local cuisine and homemade meals. When she’s not focusing on food, she also enjoys the Pittsburgh arts and entertainment scene, from Broadway shows, music festivals, to gallery crawls. She is excited to share her love for all things Pittsburgh with future readers!
Josh has been writing for Made in PGH since 2018, where he writes about upcoming events. He’s a Point Park University graduate and teaches high school English. In his free time you’ll find him playing guitar and writing new songs.
A Virginia native, Katherine moved to Pittsburgh in 2016 to attend the University of Pittsburgh. After earning her B.A. in Media and Professional Communications in December 2019, Katherine began working as a Marketing Intern and Public Relations for two different Pittsburgh-based organizations. She loves to travel, read ( big Carnegie Library fan), and explore Pittsburgh during her free time! All while fueled by an unnecessary amount of caffeine, of course.
Francesca Ferrante aka The412Franimal is a Blogger/Influencer for travel and ALL things Pittsburgh. Typically you can find her all over the US exploring the best food, views and adult beverages, or at a local PGH brewery watching whatever sport is in season. Passionate about helping others make the best memories, she loves sharing recommendations and tips for restaurants, events, happy hours & more!
Kaidia is a native Pittsburgher and a content writer for a local marketing agency. She loves to travel, try new dishes at local restaurants, and drop in to fitness class throughout the city. She's a die-hard Pens fan as well as an amateur baker and mixologist — sometimes combining both in one recipe!
Sophia is a Pittsburgh transplant who has lived in the Steel City for the last 9 years. She's passionate about food, and spends her free time sharing what it's like living (and eating!) as an Asian-American woman in Pittsburgh. You can find her exploring new restaurants, making foodie friends, and trying all the different bubble tea shops in the city.
Jordan Snowden is a Pittsburgh transplant who loves all things literature and music-related. She runs @jord_reads_books, a thriving bookstagram (book Instagram) account where she shares her love for reading and connects with other bookworms. You can usually find her at a concert, nose-deep in a book, or hula hooping.
Colin is a Pittsburgh born and raised, daydreamer, restaurant foodie addict whose passions include running, thrifting, camping, and having a healthy amount of coffee or Malbec (depending on the time of day) . As a typical jagoff, you can catch him shopping in the Strip, running in Highland Park, or finding the best hiking views just outside of the city. He is a content manager for YaJagoff Media LLC and currently lives in Etna, PA.
Founder, operator, lead investigator, pool maintenance technician, and head of janitorial services for the mainly local, sometimes regional satire platform Pittsburgh Unfiltered, which typically requires very few of the aforementioned duties. You'll find me most often sitting at the corner of the bar, blasting $20 worth of Dokken on the jukebox, or experiencing a heightened state of emotional output, entirely contingent on how the Penguins are playing at that given moment. Occasionally I also write or make bad decisions, when the two don't conveniently coincide.
