Located on the 20th block of East Carson Street, Churn has been serving up homemade ice cream and coffee since 2015.  Their variety really sets them apart, with over 20+ latte flavors and 1000+ ice cream flavors to date.

At Churn, they make ice cream daily, which means their offerings change often. They always have a unique variety, from classic vanilla to chocolate-dipped potato chip. They have something on the menu for everyone!

Enclave

Pittsburgh’s home to nightlife and entertainment is found at South Side’s Enclave, on East Carson Street between 16th and 17th. The venue takes pride in hosting live music, featuring some of the nation’s most popular touring artists.

They also host special events like live comedy acts, theater performances, and charity fundraisers. Enclave also hosts weekly club nights with live DJs, an incredible Vegas-style light show, and a heart thumping sound system.

If you are looking for entertainment with a touch of nostalgia, look no further than Pins Mechanical Co. located in SouthSide Works! There are so many old-school game options, including duckpin bowling, pinball, classic arcade games, bocce ball, patio pong, and much more. The two-story site, located at 425 Cinema Drive, has 30,000+ square feet of entertainment, including a large outdoor patio, carnival slide, private lanes, and space for special events.

While you enjoy your favorite game, be sure to try their wide selection of libations. The Pins Bar has an expansive draft list, specialty cocktails, and seasonal sips. You can also bring in your own favorite food to enjoy while playing.

Sultry F&B

At Sultry F&B, you will find an eclectic array of American favorites made in a scratch kitchen that takes pride in the quality and flavor of their food. Both food and spirits are locally/responsibly sourced as much as possible.

The bar offers many PA spirits, including Kingfly, located in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. The majority of chicken comes from Goodness Grows Farms, located in Butler, PA.

Located at 1721 East Carson Street, Sultry F&B absolutely loves that the South Side feels like its own small town within Pittsburgh. They hope to squash the negativity that has been brought to the South Side by weekend outsiders so the town can reach its full potential, and others can experience all the great things the area has to offer.

La Palapa

La Palapa started business 10 years ago with the goal of sharing their culture and customs through the flavors of Traditional Mexican Cuisine. The business started out at the former Pittsburgh Public Market in 2012, moved to the South Side in 2013, and into their current location at 2224 E. Carson Street in 2018.

They serve delicious food, like side table guacamole and chips made right on the side of your table. They also boast a full mezcal bar and serve up mezcal-itas that come in a variety of different flavors, such as Fresca Primavera (Fresh Spring) made with watermelon and lime juice or Piña Caliente (Hot Pineapple).
