The Handmade Arcade Spring Market is here! The event takes place April 29th at Construction Junction. Shop from Pittsburgh’s up-and-coming artists. There’s something for everyone – and this event is free!

The market features handmade products from 33 talented Pittsburgh makers, artists, and craftspeople. You’ll find so many different handmade items: accessories, adult clothing, artwork, bath & body, ceramics, children’s & toys, glass, housewares, jewelry, and wood!

“Enhance your home decor with upcycled treasures, inventive ceramics, and bold artwork you won’t find anywhere else. If you’re looking to indulge, our makers have you covered with handcrafted accessories, statement piece jewelry, and one-of-a-kind apparel.” Since 2004, they’ve hosted over 3,000 crafters, makers, and artists, with over 120,000 shoppers. Finding unique items is going to happen.

You’ll also have the chance for live art demos. Try some pottery-making with the Union Project’s Wheel Mobile Clay Studio. Learn about ceramics from expert teaching artists. Craft with Studio Make for a make-and-take activity. You can also buy a craft kit to take home and make later.

“Handmade Arcade envisions an inclusive artistic community where all makers are empowered to share their craft and to achieve their creative potential and financial goals.”

Also check out the Hermes food truck (Greek food and carnival favorites), ManduHandu (flavorful Korean dishes), and Pittsburgh Mobile Drink Bars (creative mocktails and beverages).
