Aslin Beer Co

Aslin Beer Co – the northern Virginia-based craft brewery known for its unique aesthetic and eclectic rotation of hazy IPAs, crispy lagers, fruit-forward sours, and award-winning stouts – expanded to Pittsburgh late last year. Their new Strip District location features a 12,000 square-foot production facility and taproom in the Terminal where they are constantly experimenting with new innovations, including seltzers and non-alcoholic brews.

In addition to 24 on-tap and to-go beers to choose from, guests can enjoy an Aslin Coffee bar and full-service kitchen open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They’re open Sunday – Thursday 6:30am – 10pm and Friday – Saturday 6:30am – 11pm. Enjoy their outdoor patio any time of day!

Cioppino

Cioppino Restaurant & Cigar Bar is a locally-owned business in the Strip District that bridges the gap between an elevated dining experience and a neighborhood spot. Enjoy their newest summer cocktails, made with all locally-sourced liquors like the Daily Refresh with Resurgent Botanicals Whiskey, mint, blood orange, and lemon, or the Passionate Pittsburgh, a passionfruit and ginger beverage with Big Spring Spiced Rum.

Join them for Saturday Brunch, Happy Hour from 4pm – 6pm on the weekdays, or dinner on their dog-friendly patio where you can enjoy a classic steakhouse filet with scalloped potatoes, roasted mushrooms, and horseradish demi-glace. On the weekdays, enjoy different specials like Oyster Tuesdays, Wednesday’s martini night, or Thursday’s taco and margarita night with $2 tacos and $5 margaritas.

Their fun, energetic, colorful, and artistic environment showcases hand-painted, original, themed art done by local artists. Their expanded outdoor patio is perfect for summer dining.

Build your own tacos or select from a variety of delicious selections like their signature Lucy’s Fire and Blue Dream, both made with secret shells. The menu includes innovative ingredients such as Tajin, cilantro-lime aioli, jicama, and Condado’s own Kewl Ranch taco shell. There are tacos for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options, starting at $4.00.

They are currently featuring a Rainbow Chard Queso and the Get Pitted margarita, a unique blend that includes avocado. Their margaritas are handmade with fresh fruit purees in a range of flavor combinations. Have a cocktail made with 100% agave tequila or try a non-tequila cocktail!

A great place to visit year round, their “Come As You Are” mantra means everyone is welcomed – so bring your family, friends, colleagues – eat great tacos, savor the delicious margaritas, hang out, and soak in the vibe. Great food at a great value – it’s the most fun you can have for under $20 per person.
