One of the most well-known rooftop bars and restaurants in Pittsburgh is the award-winning Il Tetto Rooftop Bar Garden. Located on the third floor of Sienna Mercato, Il Tetto is open every season and beyond perfect for the summer. The rooftop also offers amazing views of the Cultural District.
They offer several beers on tap, refreshing cocktails, frozen drinks, yummy appetizers, and much more. The restaurant recently started offering brunch on Sundays, featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet and boozy cocktails that will end your weekend with style. Il Tetto also offers weekly trivia, special holiday themed events, mixers, and much more!
Biergarten at Hotel Monaco | Downtown Pittsburgh
If you’re looking for another rooftop destination downtown, look no further than Biergarten! Serving German inspired brews and bites, this rooftop gives you close-up views of some of Pittsburgh’s tallest skyscrapers. This is one of our all-time favorite outdoor dining locations in Pittsburgh!
Also be sure to check out their calendar for live music the first Thursday of every month through September and other special events. Reservations for the Biergarten are recommended but not required.
