The second annual La Fleur at Phipps returns Thursday, June 11th at 6:30pm.

This annual music, art, culture, and botanicals soirée at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens is an immersive evening curated by The Green Voice featuring live performances, floral fashion, art installations, plant-forward cuisine, signature cocktails, and more.
Set against the whimsical backdrop of Phipps’ Summer Flower Show: Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, this one-of-a-kind, sustainable soirée promises an unforgettable experience.

Growth, Sustainability + Community
This year’s event is especially meaningful as presenting sponsor Dollar Bank celebrates its 170th anniversary, marking more than a century and a half of commitment to the communities it serves. Its longstanding dedication to growth, innovation, and community investment aligns with the spirit of La Fleur and its celebration of sustainability and creativity.

“Dollar Bank’s 170 years have been built on investing in the neighborhoods we call home, and Pittsburgh is at the heart of that story,” said Maria Amoruso, Senior Vice President at Dollar Bank. “La Fleur brings together the artists, makers, and institutions that make this city remarkable – and we’re proud to help Phipps and The Green Voice showcase them.”
What to Expect at La Fleur
The sustainable soirée will unfold throughout multiple rooms of Phipps’ historic glasshouse with a myriad of unique performances held in the iconic display rooms of Palm Court, Broderie Room, South Conservatory, among others.

You’ll encounter strolling floral fashion models, a performance vignette by Confluence Ballet, a live floral fashion draping by Brian David, and displays by Michael Kouri, Lana Neumeyer, Patricia Gallagher, Patti Fowler, Suz Pisano, and Virginia Nicoll.

You’ll hear the stirring sounds of Cello Fury String Quartet Trio, Gypsy Stringz, accordionist Joe Lege, and DJ SMI. You’ll engage in a meet and greet with live floral local artists Claire Hardy, Elizabeth Sickles, and Peggie Habets.

The night’s thoughtfully-crafted plant-forward French-inspired menu is by Chef Kate Romane from Black Radish Kitchen, and the drink menu features Lucky Sign Spirits branded signature cocktails.
