Anyone else sick of making the same 3 recipes on repeat?? We know we are! We’ve been scrolling a lot recently, but did you know there are some amazing recipe bloggers who live in Pittsburgh? Here are 6 of our favorites so you can always have a new recipe ready to cook!
How Sweet Eats
Jessica, the blogger behind How Sweet Eats, is like our best friend that we’ve never met (and we’re kind of hoping she reads this but also not because is that weird???) Her recipes are amazing, and we also love her “crumbs” posts. And she’s as obsessed with cheese as we are, so…
Fooduzzi
Fooduzzi is a plant-based food blog with some of the most delicious vegetarian and vegan recipes we’ve found. Chewy vegan peanut butter cup cookies? Vegan cacio e peppe? Yes, please! We love following her Instagram account for her Taste Test Tuesday series, too – she checks out a different vegan item (many from Trader Joe’s and Aldi) and gives an honest review of how good – or bad – it is.
The Almond Eater
Erin shares delicious, healthy (and quick!) recipes over at The Almond Eater. She focuses on diet-friendly recipes, so you can find one that fits your lifestyle whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, or doing a Whole 30. We can’t get over how she’s able to make healthy items so tasty and approachable!
Brown Eyed Baker
All of Michelle’s recipes at Brown Eyed Baker are worth making, but we love when she makes nostalgic classics. Things like broccoli salad (you know the one, with raisins and cheddar!), no-bake cookies, and Chinese coleslaw. We’ve used her recipes when we can’t find the one grandma used, and we could hardly tell a difference!
Homemade in the Kitchen
Homemade in the Kitchen is the perfect blog if you’re cooking for one or two people – all of Carla’s recipes are scaled down to make 2-4 portions. We’re talking small batches of cupcakes, pot roast for two, even small batches of jam. Smaller recipes are also perfect for using up ingredients that you only have a little bit of, or trying something you aren’t sure if you’ll like!
With the Grains
Quelcy is inviting us into her kitchen – with her adorable kitchen companion Julep – over at With the Grains. We’re obsessed with her moody photos! And her ‘gatherings’ section has us planning brunch and a dinner party and maybe a just-because party as soon as we’re able to have people over.
This content was provided by a local, independent contributor to Made in PGH, a lifestyle blog.
Thanks so much for including me in such good company. I hope you do have that “just-because” gathering. Those are the best kind! 🙂
