Music collectors–this is your day. The annual holiday known as Record Store Day is back for another spin. This year’s list of exclusives will have fans lined up outside independent record stores across America, eagerly waiting to get their hands on limited edition releases. Tune in and turn up–this is high fidelity at it’s finest.
Vinyl’s made a surprise comeback in 2007, when record sales went up, and Record Store Day was officially born. People were starved to actually hold music in their hands, appreciating the artwork, lyrics, and the cool crackling sound of a record playing. Drop the needle, let it play. Here’s a list of local stores celebrating Record Store Day.
