Football season is starting up again in Pittsburgh! Now is the best time to look ahead and make some predictions about the upcoming season.

Members of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette sports staff will dig into the 2019 season and shed some light on the story lines to keep an eye on this fall at Punt, Pass & Chat, set for 6-8 p.m. Aug. 27 at Tequila Cowboy on the North Shore. You’ll have the opportunity to meet the staffers and pick their brains about the team while you enjoy the happy hour specials.

The Post-Gazette sportswriters in attendance will be Steelers/NFL writers Ray Fittipaldo and Brian Batko and sports and general interest columnist Gene Collier. They’ll be joined by assistant managing editor/sports Tyler Batiste.

This event is free and open to the public; it also includes complimentary wings from 6-7 p.m., plus the chance to enter and win Steelers swag. Sip on black-and-gold margaritas, the evening’s signature cocktail from the Tequila Cowboy mixologists, while you get the inside scoop on what’s in store for the Steelers this season from some of the city’s most knowledgeable sports experts.

You may be a die-hard Steelers fan, or perhaps you’re just in it for the wings and margs, but either way, there’s fun to be had at Punt, Pass & Chat. Stay up to date with the event on Facebook, and register to attend on the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette website!
