Yoga in the Square
July 3 | Market Square
Grab your mat for free yoga hosted by some of the cities best yoga instructors. The sessions take place in Market Square, which are held every Sunday morning and Wednesday evening through September 29th.
Pittsburgh Summer Beerfest
July 12-13 | Stage AE
Stage AE is known for awesome shows, and now it’s amping up for a two day beer festival. There’s hundreds of American craft beers, food trucks, and of course–live music. It’s all for a good cause benefiting the Animal Rescue Partners and their local partner, Bigger Bullies of Pittsburgh.
Potterfest After Dark
July 19, 6pm-10pm | Carnegie Museum of Natural History
Harry Potter fanatics will love this one. According to the event, you can “learn the science that inspired potions, spells, and magical objects.” Test your knowledge with Harry Potter trivia and meet live animals in the Care of Magical Creatures. Remember to wear your best robes to represent your house. 21+
Brunchburgh: A Pittsburgh Brunch Festival
July 20th, 9:30am-12pm | Hitchhiker Brewing, Sharpsburg
Brunch is a thing again! You’ll have a nice variety of over 14 breakfast, coffee, and tea vendors. Enjoy everything from waffles and beer mimosas to doughnuts and biscuits. The $25 ticket includes a BrunchBurgh Swagbag, coffee tastings and samples, access to food vendors, and live music.
Summer Luau
July 21, 1pm-5pm | Coughlin’s Law Kitchen and Ale House
Get in the summer mood with $4 Corona/Margaritas all day, along with a Pig Roast which begins at 1pm. Chill out with some acoustic music. Good vibes!
PicklesBurgh
July 26-28
Voted #1 Best Specialty Food Festival in America by readers of USA Today, Picklesburgh is back. This year the event expands to the riverside lanes of Ft. Duquesne Boulevard between Stanwix and 7th Streets. Try the dill pickle ice cream, potato and pickle pierogies, and cocktails crafted from a pickled spirit. Remember to get a selfie with that huge inflatable pickle balloon.
Goat Fest in Southside Park
July 27, 12pm-4pm
The goats are here! This one of a kind festival features a community garden with food trucks, live music performances, partner tents, and a craft vendor market.
Check out the Allegheny Goatscape herd, which will be eating invasive species in the Jurassic Valley.
Open Streets PGH
July 28
Walk, run, bike and explore miles of open streets. This edition of Open Streets takes place Downtown,Uptown, and Southside–including the Birmingham Bridge, 10th Street Bridge, and Armstrong Tunnel.
Italian Cheese and Cider Tasting
July 31, 6pm-8pm | Threadbare Cider and Mead
Have some cheese curated by the cheese experts at Chantal’s cheese shop. Each cheese is paired with a pour of Threadbare Cider. You can also learn about the regional history of each cheese. Your $40 ticket includes a welcome cocktail, 5 cheese and cider pairing, accompaniments, and a mini-cider house tour after the tasting.
