Step into classic scenes from I Love Lucy, Anchorman, and Saturday Night Live; take the stage to perform stand-up routines from Jerry Seinfeld, Ali Wong, and Chris Rock; or explore the iconic props—rubber chickens, Groucho glasses, and whoopee cushions—that defined generations of comedy. Each experience invites you to play, perform, and laugh out loud in comedy’s most interactive museum.
Interactive, Immersive and Personalized Comedy
Along with admission to the museum, guests receive an interactive wristband that is used to customize their comedy preference profile, creating a personalized experience for every visitor. By learning each guest’s sense of humor, technology adapts each digital element to suit their brand of comedy. Even in group experiences, the system combines common attributes between audience members to create a mutually enjoyable experience.
The exhibits include an interactive table to learn more about the use of classic comedic props, a meme-creation area, and even a chance for guests to put themselves in the “I Love Lucy” sitcom. Guests can also do comedy karaoke, where they choose a monologue to read off the screen and perform in front of an audience.

The Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum celebrates the lives, careers, and enduring legacy of the “First Couple of Comedy.” Just a few blocks from the National Comedy Center, the museum features original costumes, props, and recreated sets from I Love Lucy—including the Ricardos’ New York apartment—along with rare photos, scripts, and personal memorabilia that bring their groundbreaking careers to life.
The museum also tells the remarkable story of Desilu Productions, the pioneering studio Lucy and Desi founded, which not only revolutionized television production but went on to produce some of the most iconic shows in TV history, including Star Trek and Mission: Impossible.
