Freshfest
Aug 10, 12pm-10pm | Nova Place
Get fresh because the nations first black beer fest is back. Something is brewing–there’s an awesome lineup of 75 black owned breweries in the mix for this year. Sample craft beers, ciders, and spirits. Check out local artists, musicians (2 stages with bands and DJ’s!), food trucks, and vendors. Use the hashtag #fresher.
PGH Veg Fest
Aug 10, 11am-5pm | Allegheny Commons Park
It’s vegan time! The all vegan event has won best food fest in Pittsburgh 2 years in a row. Enjoy the cities best vegan food, along with cooking and food demonstrations, yoga, kids activities, live music, and shopping. It’s free! The event is hosted by Justice for Animals.
Little Italy Days
Aug 15-18 | Bloomfield
The region’s largest heritage festival returns with 4 days of music and amazing Italian food. Some of the fantastic bands include The Granati Brothers, and Penguins national anthem singer Jeff Jimerson. The traditional Celeb bocce challenge returns, featuring Pittsburgh politicians and media personalities.
Pittsburgh Tacos and Marg Bar Crawl

Arts Fest on Walnut

The third annual art festival hosts over 140 artists showcasing original hand-made artwork. Walnut Street in Shadyside will be packed with painters, potters, jewelers, and photographers. Meet the artists!
Weekly trivia nights in PGH
Do you want to test your knowledge and play for prizes? Bring your team and get ready for some trivia. Hambones in Lawrenceville hosts trivia every Wednesday night at 9pm. You can also check out The Beerhive in the Strip every Thursday at 7pm. If you’re near the Southside, Marios is the spot every Wednesday at 8pm. It’s a win/win situation!
Squirrel Hill Night Market

This is one of the most unique nights you’ll see this summer. The pop-up night market in Squirrel Hill is inspired by Asia and around the world. The free outdoor festival features over 75 artists selling homemade wares, along with local live music, art, and performers. Check out fav Squirrel hill restaurants and food trucks!
Ribfest
Aug 29-Sept 2, noon-11pm | Heinz Field
Every year Heinz Field brings in the best ribs from around the country. Labor day weekend will be jammed with mouthwatering ribs, games, rides, and the Steeler experience.Headlining acts will be announced soon!
