Looking for an escape from the city but can’t get away for long? Get away without having to go away by taking a short trip up I-79 to the town of Zelienople. Burghers Brewing
For 13 years, Burghers Brewing has been bringing local ethical and sustainable foods and craft beer to those in Zelienople (and Lawrenceville). On tap for them next? A re-brand, a new location in the Southside’s Highline, and a new 14,000 ft.² production brewery in Millvale!
Check out their daily, weekly, and monthly specials – like their smashburger “Fast Food But Better Burger Series,” Tuesday’s smash tacos (a smashburger turned into a taco), and unbeatable happy hour deals Monday – Friday from 3pm – 6pm and Saturday from 8pm – 10pm. Della Terra
Zelienople’s Della Terra is an Italian bistro with a flare of local ingredients to match the seasons. Enjoy elevated food in a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere that can accommodate anyone’s taste. All pasta and pizza dough is made in house – and made with a starter that has been alive as long as Della Terra! Their wine and cocktail program is ever-changing with the seasons as well, using seasonal ingredients and promoting local vendors.
This month, they are hosting a dinner by two of their chefs, Jason Rodgers and Isaiah Yohn. These popular monthly dinners allow the chefs to have fun with other cuisines and different ingredients. Keep an eye out for their 10 year anniversary in October, where they’ll have a full week of specials including some favorites of many customers.

Sips & Sweets
Sips & Sweets specializes in bubble tea, natural smoothies, and some of the most amazing coffee: Organic Grounds and Hounds. Home of Moo Dough flights (edible cookie dough samplers), they also sell a variety of unique baked goods, including Cookiewiches and whoopie pies galore!

Los Mayas Mexican Restaurant
Located in Harmony which is right next to Zelienople, Los Mayas Mexican Restaurant has been voted Gold Best Local Restaurant in Harmony by the Cranberry Eagle Community (‘22, ‘23), Silver Best Mexican Restaurant (‘22, ‘23), and Bronze Best Lunch Spot (‘23). This BYOB restaurant is a great spot for large groups and private parties and also has a catering menu.
