Great Ohio Lodges Getaway Giveaway Official Sweepstakes Rules

The weather is improving, the great outdoors is calling, and Salt Fork Lodge is ready for your next adventure.

With so many activities available on site and in the park, Salt Fork Lodge offers plenty of options for your bespoke experience – whether you’re seeking to relax, explore, or do a bit of both.

Relax poolside indoors or out, take in a hot tub soak, play sand beach volleyball or shuffleboard. Make time for exploring any of the 14 hiking trails or meander along the Stonehouse Wildflower Walk to see the latest blooms. Rent a pontoon, kayak or fishing boat and enjoy the water or spend time at the public beach basking in the sun and swimming. Fit in a round of golf at the scenic lodge golf course or do some fishing. To wind down your night, why not play giant-Jenga or cornhole, then sit around a campfire? Lake-life vibes abound – how you choose to adventure is up to you.

Active outdoor adventurers won’t be disappointed. Walk for as short or as long as you like on the hiking trails that range from 0.5 miles to 2.0 miles and include some of Ohio’s famous Buckeye Trail. Bigfoot is rumored to be in the Salt Fork State Park woods, so grab a sightings map, from the front desk, and see if you can’t get an elusive peak.

The available-to-rent 11-person pontoon can give you a calm day on the water or one filled with good times tubing or skiing. Two-hour kayak rentals are available too to get you out on the water soaking up the rays. If catching fish is more your thing, we’ve got you covered too!

Avid golfers will find the rugged terrain of rural southeast Ohio a welcomed challenge as you play the 18-hole, championship course full of rolling fairways and expansive greens. The par-71 course spans 250 acres of forested hills, open meadows, and misty valleys.

Salt Fork Lodge is a great destination for families, too. Check out board games from the front desk or head to the game room for arcade-style games, air hockey, ping pong, and pool. Scheduled children’s activities and naturalist programs are featured in the Activity/Nature Room as well as a few turtles, snakes, and salamanders. Add in a visit to the campground store to purchase a bag of gems and stones then visit the water sluice to sift and find your gems. You can even sneak in a little education on the Storybook Trail which is lined with pages from a children’s book and blends the fun of outdoor exploration and reading.

Salt Fork Lodge is more than just for nature lovers, add special packages onto your stay as well like the romance package of champagne and truffles or a celebration package of cheese and wine or just chill with a seasonal local IPA bucket of beers. A few of the other package add-ons include a hiking package where the hiking is planned for you, stay and play golf including unlimited golf with a cart, and a campfire bundle of hoodies, a blanket, firewood, and a s’mores kit.

No matter how you choose to adventure, at Salt Fork Lodge you’ll get that much needed dose of the great outdoors and the very best lake life vibes. Reserve your stay today.
