This incredible wine and beer boutique shop is located in the heart of Shadyside, just a few blocks from the well-known Walnut Street. As a locally owned business with a specifically curated collection of wines and brews, P’Vino is a must-visit.
Shop + Sip at P’Vino
One of our favorite things about P’Vino is that they not only offer the option to stop by to shop their collection of beer and wine, but they also offer customers the option to enjoy beverages on-site! With no corkage fee for bottles or cans you purchase on-site, this is a perfect spot to start, end, or spend your evening.
Their selection of beer ranges from local favorites to breweries all over the country. You can purchase 6-packs or 12-packs of beer, as well as select single cans or create your own 6-pack! Get all the festive limited releases and more while you’re there.
Unique Wine Collection
For wine, don’t even get us started, because you won’t get us to stop! The wine selection at P’Vino is top-tier. They select each wine carefully from wineries and producers that the owners have researched. You’ll find unique low-intervention wines, wines from small women-owned vineyards, zero-sugar wines (that was a new one for us), and more.
The staff is extremely knowledgeable on their wine collection so don’t hesitate to ask about anything! We had the chance to meet the owners, Sheweta and Bogdan — along with Lee, one of their connections through Vintage Imports — and they all were friendly and eager to answer any questions we had during our tasting. You can tell they have a passion for wine all over the world and have brought that passion to P’Vino.
Events at P’Vino
If you’re interested in learning about wine or just a fun evening, P’Vino offers wine tastings and other events in their intimate space.
In fact, this Saturday from 4pm – 8pm, they are hosting an event titled “Boos and Booze.” This event will feature free tastings all afternoon, spooky basket prizes, and coolers stocked with all of the seasonal fall drinks! Plus, pets are encouraged! Bring your furry friends down dressed in their best costume for a chance at winning their pet costume contest.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Bites!)
Another perk of P’Vino is that they allow you to bring in your own food with no added fee since they don’t have a kitchen of their own. Bring in some charcuterie or a full meal from one of the fabulous Shadyside restaurants to enjoy alongside your glass of wine or beer.
As we mentioned, it is a perfect place to start, end, or spend your evening – truly! If you have dinner reservations nearby, consider stopping at P’Vino beforehand for a glass of wine or beer. If you don’t want to finish the bottle of wine amongst your group, you can recork it and head on your way.
