Being a commuter in Pittsburgh just got a whole lot easier! On Friday, July 9th, the Pittsburgh Mobility Collective, which consists of different city government agencies, transportation services, and local organizations, launched Move PGH, a one of a kind program that will allow users to access multiple transportation services in one place!

Move PGH is working to improve and simplify mobility access by connecting Pittsburgh’s shared transportation options in the Transit app. Current services on the app include the Pittsburgh Port Authority and Health Ride bike share, also coming soon to the app are Scoobi E-mopeds, Spin E-scooters, Waze Carpool, and Zip Car-sharing!

Don’t have access to your phone? No problem! Move PGH also plans to have 50 Mobility Hubs located throughout the city where riders can see all the services listed above and can even use mobile payment to purchase fare cards and to add money to their Connect card for Port Authority transit. Mobile Hubs allow commuters to access transportation even in areas where public transportation isn’t widely available. For more information about Move PGH visit the website
