Prepare for all the tacos your heart desires! The Taco Takeover (in partnership with Rivers of Steel) is back at Carrie Blast Furnaces. This year brings more tacos than ever. The Carrie Furnace grounds is going to be a taco lovers paradise! The event takes place August 1 (12pm-7pm).

You’ll have plenty of awesome options for the event–over twenty Pittsburgh food trucks will grace the Carrie Furnaces. Soo good! The outdoor event makes social distancing easy. Make sure to bring your own camp chair/blankets. And then it’s time to have some amazing tacos while kicking back with live music, beer, tequila, margaritas, blast furnace tours and more! Yeah, this is going to be a fun afternoon.

Live music features Sweaty Already Strings Band (1-2:30), Truth & Rites (3-4:30), and Moat Rats (5-6:30). 

There will be a free shuttle at the Hampton Inn Parking Lot at the Waterfront, with free parking in the Waterfront. Park there, catch the shuttle. Onsite parking is limited and available for purchase.
