Summer is on the horizon and kicking off with loaded, fun happenings all around Pittsburgh. With so many activities, choosing your decompression, weekday evening plans or weekend warrior agenda can be difficult. Thankfully, Bakery Square has something for EVERYONE. ALL. SUMMER. LONG.
Last weekend, The Made in PGH crew stopped by Bakery Square to experience a typical weekend by welcoming $5 Cinco De Mayo margaritas at Galley Bakery Square while watching the Buccos on the big screen with live music on the lawn and dinner from City Fresh Pasta — our kind of Friday evening view.
Plus, the weekend included Yoga in the Square on Saturday, followed by Derby Day on the lawn with fresh mint juleps. The evening embraced Night at the Races, horse race-watching with a fittingly extravagant derby hat contest and live music to really get the weekend going at a successful, steady pace. To end things right, nothing completes a blissful Bakery Square weekend quite like a delicious, hearty brunch at Alta Via Pizzaria with pull-apart garlic bread, brunch pizza and freshly-made avocado toast. Enough said.
From watching the Pirates on the Big Screen, Monday Food Truck Lunches, Trivia Night at Tako Torta, Live Music on the Lawn, there’s a reason every day to enjoy life to the fullest at Bakery Square — while indulging in your favorite sips and eats. Be sure to check out all of the fun summer happenings to really harness your hang potential.
Plus, be sure to attend their second annual Pride party, Pride on Penn, on June 10, 2023, hosted by the legendary Dixie Surewood. Tickets go on sale soon — be sure to follow @bakerysquarepgh for updates!
