It’s been a while since we’ve talked about tacos. Like, years. And we think we’re long overdue for a serious discussion, especially since taco Tuesday is such an important part of our lives. So here are 8 taco joints, in addition to our previous 16, to hit up next Tuesday.
Doce Taqueria
We have a hard time choosing which tacos to order when we go to Doce. We usually go for the American, and at least two others. But no matter what we order, we always get the corn tortillas.
Condado Tacos
Anywhere that lets us build our own tacos is a winner in our book…hello Condado! We’ll also take some queso and a marg…or should we get the sangria?
Bull River Taco
The menu at Bull River Taco might be small, but that just means we can get one of everything…right? Consider it a taco Tuesday challenge, and come hungry!
Patron Mexican Grill
Patron has more than just tacos, although we can’t get enough of their hard shell beef tacos. Do yourself a favor and order one of their Amigo combo specials so you can try a couple. Pro tip: if you’re not in the mood for tacos (is that even a thing??) then give the Pollo Amigo a try.
Bea Taco Town
If you’re looking for an authentic beef tongue tacos, Bea Taco Town has you covered. They also have your standard fish, shrimp, chicken, and steak protein options, so don’t worry if tongue isn’t your thing. They even serve a taco with steak, chicken, AND sausage if you need all of them at once!
Las Velas Mexican Restaurant
Las Velas is serving up dishes inspired by Mexico City and the Riviera Maya, and we’re all in. We count 12 types of tacos on their menu, and that’s just their lunch menu. They also make favorites like enchiladas, sopes, and tostadas, so we’ll save you a seat.
202 Hometown Tacos
We’re always up for a happy hour, especially if it involved 2 for $5 tacos like 202 Hometown Tacos. And while that might only be valid on chicken or carnitas tacos, we have a feeling you’ll end up wanting to try one of every other taco, too.
Bakersfield
Bakersfield’s tagline is “Tacos. Tequila. Whiskey.” and they’ve stolen our hearts because those are the only three things we need in life. Although they do have a few things besides tacos, like queso, tostadas, and taquitos in case we decide to branch out.
