There’s nothing like a cold, crisp brewski on a hot summer day. Whether you’re tailgating for a concert, having a bonfire or floating down the river, here are a few summer beers to sip your good weather cares away:

Grist House Craft Brewery

Dog-friendly, daily food trucks, lounge sitting and delicious fruited and dessert sours, Kolsch style ales, and IPAs galore, Grist House is the perfect place to beat the summer heat. Cheers to a Microburst with flavors of raspberry, honey and vanilla or enjoy a Parrot Party with berries, vanilla and lemon for a sweet, puckering good time. Not a beer lover? Keep reading and order up the Seltzer Drip, a unique mimosa in a 16oz can. It may not be beer, but it boasts the attention of the dreamy take on brunch with real orange. It’s fermented with champagne yeast to deliver a bubbly, light and refreshing splash in your mouth.

Necromancer Brewing Co.

Self-acclaimed to be the beer of summer 2022, Necromancer Brewing has a juicy, tantalizing taste of a new beer, Wildwood with Lime, available on tap and as 4-packs to go. This mouthwatering creation has 100% real lime to pack a punch of daydreaming on the beach as 5 o’clock turns the corner. Punch out, close that laptop and enjoy a fresh summer sense of tranquility with this new release.

North Country Brewing Co.

North Country Brewing Co. is a brewpub that keeps on getting deliciously creative with its beer cravings. This summer, cool off with a Watermelon Cucumber Lime Sour and stay tuned for a release of a PA nectar pale ale. It’s a honey pale ale that will be brewed with local honey from Western PA and all the ingredients in this one stem from parts of PA. ‘Bee’ PA proud and cheers to that! Plus, YaJagoff! American-light lager hits the crowd-pleaser spot when tailgating, hanging by the pool, or even washing your car, n’at. It was the official beer of The Big Butler Fair, even! There’s no need to travel all the way to Slippery Rock, North Country will be hosting its own to-go beer pop-up on Saturday, July 23 from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. at Rohrich Honda in Bloomfield. Stop by the Bloomfield Saturday Market and head across the street to pick up a pack or two!

Dancing Gnome

Like a gnome itself, Dancing Gnome celebrates the merry mischief of magic when combining new releases, releases, and MORE releases with its summer, thirst-quenching swag. Sign up for the Dancing Gnome newsletter to get first dibs on weekly release hitting the serving counter. This Friday, Marbled Heart comes out so head there to taste that as well as a variety of Double IPAs, West Coast IPA, DIPA, or a crisp, clean Kolsch style ale and plenty more. Plus, appreciate the art of the suds with local artists bringing the art labels to life.

Rivertowne Brewing

Rivertowne Brewing has the unique taste and flair for any beer drinker. Enjoy a Day Float IPA or crush a Hala Kahiki, now its own company but still available in Pennsylvania, for a bold and bodacious pineapple ale and even pucker up to an easy, drinkable Classic Kickback Lemon Lager. Plus, savor the suds of Rivertowne’s Bridge Series #5, the Warhol IPA. This 4.5% mango session IPA can be your juicy, mango muse for your next outside venture, whether it be a BBQ, bonfire or patio lounging day drink. The day is yours to paint with this one!
