You’re just in luck! St. Patrick’s Day is around the rainbow-lit corner, and it’s time to uncover the glowing, amber-filled glass that is a lucky pot of gold in the ‘Burgh. Yes, we’re talking about St. Patrick’s Day beer which seems to be few and far between this year. Here’s what we’ve uncovered with three, truly unique spots to sip those St. Patty’s themed suds for 2023:

Hitchhiker Brewing Co.

Now pouring at the Mt. Lebanon taproom and brewery in Sharpsburg, the 16 oz. Trip to Ireland is the perfect stout to sprout and cheers to the top of the morning (or afternoon) to you this St. Patrick’s Day. The featured beer is coined “Ireland in a glass” sitting as a dry Irish stout at 4.9% ABV. The beer is brewed with specialty malts and hopped with East Kent Goldings. Have fun with it and experience the bold taste to seize the day.

Voodoo Brewing Co.

Did someone say nitro? Rooney’s Irish Red is coming out strong this green-themed holiday but with a showstopping red, amber-glow. Taste the excitement and traditional yet spunky smoothness of the Irish red ale served on nitro. Find this red ale, sitting at 7% ABV, on tap at the Homestead location.

Lolev Beer

Follow the rainbow to Lolev, located in Lawrenceville, to experience the full St. Patrick’s Day festivities all in one place on Saturday, March 18 starting at 4 PM. The new brewery is going big with a special Irish dry stout and a coveted matcha beer release. Taste a cream ale brewed with matcha which is finished on matcha green tea to yield a bold, deep-green beer with a full-bodied flavor. Plus, enjoy live Irish music by Devil Take the Women, a pastrami and smoked cabbage platter by Haskel’s Deli, and a classic tossing of an Irish Rings Tournament. Be sure to follow Lolev on Instagram for all of their fun happenings and updates.
