Fan of margaritas? We’ve got good news for you! Lift up your mid-February winter spirits to a cold, rimmed glass of tequila, limes, fresh juices and a glimpse of sunshine that is known as National Margarita Day, celebrated on February 22 every year. Here are a few places to sip and cheer on the random yet easily celebrated day.

Emiliano’s Mexican Restaurant & Bar

Rep the 412 with Emiliano’s extensive margarita menu with the Black & Gold margarita made with Hornitos® Black Barrel, Grand Marnier and fresh-squeezed orange and lemon juice. It’s built with a Black sea salt rim and a lemon garnish. This drink benefits the Ryan Shazier Foundation, so what’s not too like? Taste test their other nine margaritas like Roasted Orange, Blue, Fruit Punch and more. Plus, you can even build your own marg if you wish, too.

Totopo Cocina & Cantina

Enjoy happy hour Monday-Thursday from 4-6PM and Friday-Sunday from 3-5PM for 50% off house margs on the rocks, and be sure to check out their signature menu, too. Try the Champagne Margarita made with Patrón Tequila and orange liqueur mixed with house-made citrus juice and champagne or go frozen with Sauza Tequila and orange liqueur blended with strawberry, peach, mango or lime. There are nine margaritas to choose from so pick wisely—but not really, Totopo doesn’t disappoint.

Round Corner Cantina

Tropical and vibey, relax with friends with great food while sipping on their well-known margaritas. Cheers to La Cantina made with tequila, triple sec, lime, agave and a splash of orange juice and go big with a shareable (debatable?) pitcher for only $32. There are other, out-of-the-bar-box drinks to choose from, too.

El Sabor Latin Kitchen

With a South American flair for Latin/Mexican fare, El Sabor also mixes up their margarita game from classics to specialties. Try one of the more classic approaches with The Penn made with Espolon, Cointreau, lime juice, house-made sours and a salted rim, or go bolder with Spicy Grapefruit made with house tequila, Cointreau, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, housemade jalapeno simple syrup dazzled with a fierce, salty & spicy rim. Another notable and unique marg includes the Frozen Cilantro Margarita made with 1800 Reposado tequila, triple sec, house-made sours and fresh cilantro blended into a cilantro-infused frozen margarita.

Other very delicious and notable places for margaritas include Bakersfield, täkō, Las Velas, La Palapa and Patron Mexican Grill. Have a place to shout out? Let us know in the comments!
