Earlier this year, we dropped a brand new food tour, Pittsburgh Pizza Passport. It was a favorite among pizza lovers, and we’re proud to announce that the new and improved passport will return in 2025!
About Pittsburgh Pizza Passport
Dive into the ultimate pizza adventure: a flavorful, self-guided tour of more than 18 top pizzerias, each serving up unique and delicious slices across Western Pennsylvania. From hidden gems to fan favorites, your Pizza Passport is your guide to exploring Pittsburgh’s vibrant pizza scene, one delicious slice at a time.
The tour begins on National Pizza Day, February 9th, 2025 and continues for six weeks through March 23rd, 2025! Grab your passport and embark on a tasty adventure through the best pizza Western Pennsylvania has to offer.
Explore the pizza-dense Pittsburgh area by stopping at more than 18 different pizza locations. Simply visit participating pizzerias, get your passport stamped and savor a slice. Plus, the more pizzerias you visit, the more chances you’ll have to win an Ooni outdoor pizza oven!
For both experienced foodies and casual diners alike, this is your chance to try a variety of pizza styles, like Detroit, New York, Neapolitan, Sicilian and more. Find your favorite new pizza place to revisit over and over!
How the Pizza Passport Works
With the Pittsburgh Pizza Passport, you get to make your own tour! Use the map in your passport (or online) to create the perfect pizza path. Just check each location’s Pizza Passport hours before heading out, then go get a slice (or six)!
At each location, check in with staff for your passport stamp and slice of pizza. Some pizzerias will have seating areas, and others may give you a slice to take out. Scan the QR code at each location to rate your slice and enter the Ooni pizza oven giveaway.
You’ll have six weeks (Sunday, February 9th – Sunday, March 23rd) to visit the pizzerias at your own pace. There are currently 18 participating pizza places—and more may still be added—but you can visit as few or as many as you’d like!
