Starting Saturday, October 8 Pita My Shawarma brings Lebanese street food to the streets of Cranberry Township.

Over the last few years Pita My Shawarma has taken a remarkable journey from food truck to Lawrenceville storefront and now to its second sedentary location in Cranberry Township.

Food truck creator, owner, and manager Jason Taylor is excited to bring his authentic Lebanese eats and popular shawarma dish to more customers.

“Nearly 4 years ago I launched Pita My Shawarma with our very first food truck. Being 1st generation Lebanese, I couldn’t find an authentic shawarma that I enjoyed, so I decided to create my own from scratch”, says Jason. “To see how far we’ve come since then, opening this second location in Cranberry is a dream come true and I look forward to continuing sharing my food and culture with the Pittsburgh area and beyond.”

The new Cranberry location (20018 US-19) features more room for indoor seating which will allow more people to enjoy the restaurant’s famous freshly hand stacked rotisserie shaven chicken shawarma, made from scratch falafel, bowls and salads, wraps, and hand cut zaatar fries. It will also have Oakland’s famous Dave & Andy’s Homemade ice cream for purchase for dessert.
