For one night only the Carrie Furnace is going to come back to life for a hauntingly good time as the Scary Furnace.

On Saturday, October 22 the Beers of the Burgh and Brew Gentlemen are hosting a mini beerfest for 2 hours from 4pm – 6pm. 12 local breweries will have spooky good seasonal brews from harvest ales to pumpkin stouts.

After the beerfest the normal and paranormal activity really starts beating with a Halloween Party from 6pm – 10pm. You can dance the night away while enjoying the Brew Gentlemen’s award-winning beers as well as craft cocktails, non-alcoholic options, and local food truck offerings.

At 3pm there is a ghost tour led by Rivers of Steel, but unfortunately the tickets for it are already soul-ed out. But luckily you’ll be deep in the heart of the legendary Carrie Furnace where ghosts don’t just spook on schedule. So you’ll have all night to enjoy spine tingling sensations as you dance along to DJs and the live music of Stone Throwers, Title Town, and headliner Beauty Slap.

Costumes are encouraged.

Check out the Facebook Event Page for a list of the spooktacular food vendors, breweries, and vendors.
