We SCREAM for ice cream, which is why we are extra excited about Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream launching their first Pop-up Scoop Shop inside the Giant Eagle’s Waterworks Market District, located at 910 Freeport Rd.
On Friday, July 5th Millie’s Market District Scoop Shop began scooping out Millie’s delicious ice cream selling scoops, shakes, handmade waffle cones, and their delightful toppings. This pop-up features a daily selection of four different flavors everyday they are open as well as offering free samples of all eleven flavors carried at Giant Eagle and Market District locations. You can find the stand open every Thursday through Monday from Noon – 8 PM, throughout the summer months.
The fun doesn’t stop there. Pints of Millie’s hand-made, all-natural ice creams are also now available for purchase in the frozen sections of select Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle and Market District locations. These perfect pints can be found stocked year-round and will also be available at the grab-and-go pint freezer at the oh so insta worthy pop-up found in the store’s demonstration kitchen space by the bakery. The eleven flavors currently available at select locations include Chad’s Vanilla, Best Chocolate, Dulce De Leche, Cookie Dough, Coffee, Hazelnut Brownie, and Incline Cherry. Dairy-free gelato flavors are also available including Mango, Fresh Mint Chip, Dark Chocolate, and Bananas Foster. Making room in our freezer because who are we kidding? We’ll take one of each!
