With the holidays in full swing and New Year’s just around the corner, here are a few jolly places to pick up and sip into 2023 in stylish, merry taste:

Kingfly Spirits

One of the bottles, Raki, is self-acclaimed of tasting just like a Pizzelle cookie, with rich flavors of anise and notes of floral and velvet, similar to ouzo or Sumbucca. Recommended use is 1 part Raki to 3-4 parts ice cold water, which will turn a bold white color, perfect for winter. The phenomenon is nicknamed “Lions Milk.”

Lawrenceville Distilling Co.

Made in small batches as a family-run business, the distillery reps Pittsburgh Pride with its bottle creations. Try the Ginzer Gin or Jaggerbush Gin, and save a spot on the bar for the Parking Chair Vodka. Gift this as a set or have them ready and lined up for just about any cocktail recipe to kick off 2023.

Looking to pop off some bubbly sweetness? No need to outsource to Champagne wine region of France, Threadbare has you covered in affordable selections. Taste the drt, tart, sweet and flavors in between such as the Sweet Cranberry, Gingerbread or Pomegranate ciders to enhance the holiday warmth. Plus, try the Fizzy Flamingo Rosé for that extra fizz or the first of Threadbare’s kind, Bridge City Bubbly, a champagne-like cider.
