Ace Hotel

The Deal: 4:30-6:30PM, Daily, $5 draft beer, $6 wine cans, $5 well drinks, $7 house cocktails, $3 Narragansett tall boys, and food specials from $1-10

What to Expect: The Ace Hotel has a comfortable Lobby Bar with a daily happy hour from 4:30-6:30PM. Sip on seasonal cocktails made with local ingredients or chug a can of Prosecco (it’s 2019, we can get Prosecco in cans now!). Delight in the Duck Fat Kettle Corn for just $1 if you’re a bit peckish, or get the $10 Whitfield Cheeseburger if you’re feeling famished.

Kelly’s Bar and Lounge

The Deal: 5-7PM, Monday-Saturday, $2 off drafts, ½ off select appetizers  

What to Expect: Kelly’s strikes an unusual but welcome balance of being a grungy dive bar, retro diner, and trendy pub. The happy hour special offers discounts on both draft beers and select appetizers. The mini mac n’ cheese is highly satisfying for an afterwork bite to eat, and there are some interesting craft beers and cocktails to choose from too. Their back patio should be bustling when the weather is warm.

Lorelei

The Deal: 5-6PM, Wednesday-Friday and 1-4PM, Saturday, $2 off all draft beers and wines, $3 off featured classic cocktails

What to Expect: Lorelei is located in the historic Werner Building in East Liberty. This cocktail house and beer hall features German and Alpine European inspired food and beverages. Lorelei discounts their drinks from Wednesday-Friday and offers a Saturday afternoon happy hour too. Some standout menu items are the freshly baked pretzels, braised lamb pies, and chocolate chip cookies.

Muddy Waters Oyster Bar

The Deal: 4:30PM-6:30PM, Tuesday-Friday, 9PM-11PM on Tuesdays, and 11AM-1PM on Saturdays, $1-2 featured oysters, $8 Boiler Makers, $6 Don Wayne Cocktails, $10 off bottles of bubbles, $20 off bottles of champagne

What to Expect: The menu at Muddy Waters is focused on fresh oysters, so take advantage of the East Coast Featured Oysters for $1 each and the West Coast Featured Oysters for $2 each at happy hour. If you’re in the mood to share some bubbles with friends during brunch on a Saturday, it’s $20 off per bottle. Dom Pérignon, anyone?

Social at Bakery Square

The Deal: 5-7PM, Monday-Friday, $2 select cans and drafts, plus a variety of daily drink specials

What to Expect: Social at Bakery Square has beer for just $2 at happy hour, along with other daily drink specials, such as half-priced mimosas. Classics like pizzas and salads are always on the menu, as well as more unique items like the Cauliflower Patties (they taste better than they sound, we swear!). To stave off post-workday boredom, you can step inside for some darts or play outdoor games like ping pong and cornhole
