Spooky season has officially crept into Pittsburgh with delicious, elevated cocktails. Here are a few favorite picks that are SCARY good.

Wigle Whiskey: The Witching Hour

Wigle Whiskey is stirring up some hauntingly great cocktails with its pop-up, The Witching Hour, on Fridays and Saturdays throughout October from 6pm – 11pm. Try five of its ‘cursed’ cocktails, like the Ghoul Fashioned made with Wigle Reserve 4-year PA Straight Bourbon, Wigle Orange Liqueur, Wigle Spiced Liqueur, cinnamon simple, and molé bitters.

Or revel in the magic of ‘Spirited Shots,’ ‘Haunted Highball Cocktails,’ and also ‘Bewitching Beer and Cider’ to spice things up this season. Check out The Witching Hour menu here.

Ritual House

Ready to unite with your ghouls and gals for a Halloween-inspired ritual? Ritual House is conjuring up a few reimagined cocktails this season.

The Grape Ape is made with blueberry Stoli vodka, purple Kool-Aid, white cranberry, lime juice, and Moscato. The Gravedigger is made with Amally Mezcal, house rosemary syrup, lime juice, and ginger beer (plus, a spooky, scary skeleton!). And finally, the Fortune Teller is made with vodka, Luxardo Maraschino, lychee, lemon, and a showstopping, silver-dusted crystal ball ice cube — with an attached mini tarot card for your reading pleasure.

Bridges & Bourbon

Bridges & Bourbon has unveiled its 2024 Halloween cocktail, the Witch’s Den. Double, double, toil, and trouble – this cocktail aims for an otherworldly realm for the senses. It’s made with beef-washed bourbon, acorn squash syrup, cranberry, and pimento bitters.

Cheers to this delightful terror! You can also find the rest of Bridges & Bourbon’s menu here.
