Eat Unique

When it comes to the idea of fast food, we often have an idea of oil, grease and anything that goes along with a not-so-appealing meal that in hindsight is supposed to free us some time.

Yet, many of us are starting to incorporate the idea of “fast fresh” when it comes to our dietary wants and needs.  Especially with the world today, we are constantly on the go, and in need of food that can keep up with our busy lifestyles.

EatUnique offers a unique (no-pun intended) dining experience in which guests will have the opportunity to create a hearty meal with options ranging from soups, seasonal salads and sandwiches.

Patrons of Craig Street Coffee might remember this location, as this was home to the prior establishment before being revitalized as EatUnique.

Established in 1997 by Dave and Lisa Brown, the pair brought together their backgrounds in food service and retail to create a space that gave people countless healthy options for their meal needs.

Originally established to be a coffee house with a limited menu, has thus transformed into a full-fledged eatery that caters to the students, business people and tourists within the Oakland neighborhood

For the pair, Lisa handles all of the food needs for the business, while Dave showcases his baking skills with their famous sea salt chocolate chip cookies, surely to cause the most fantastic of cravings, especially during the holiday season.

The au-natural vibe and at-home sensation offers a fabulous blend of comfort and healthy options for your weekly lunch needs (but let’s face it – wants too).  Especially in a world full of grease and grit, do your body a favor and enjoy all of the wonderful smells and tastes EatUnique has to offer.
