In case you didn’t already know, the Carnegie Museum of Art puts on some of the most exciting and interesting events in the city. This October is no exception! On October 26, the museum is hosting an event for two of our favorite things — yoga and painting. Yoga Paint Party™ at CMOA, by YOGAMOTIF, lets you move and create a painting while finding your center in a yoga class.
Yoga Paint Party™ is a unique event that allows you to use your body as a paintbrush to create a unique painting using your yoga mat. This is a mess-free yoga class that is open to all levels.
You’ll start your Saturday off right with an hour of yoga. Tickets include a special mat, acrylic paints, your completed painting, and the yoga class. As an added bonus, you get free admission to the Carnegie Museums of Art and Natural History.
In addition to creating a unique painting, you’ll relax and unwind in the Hall of Sculpture, two of the most breathtaking areas in the art museum.
YOGAMOTIF is a yoga studio that focuses on creative wellness. Yoga Paint Party™ is their most popular class, with additional classes focused on Hatha yoga, Full Moon Yoga Flow, and Yoga Foundations.
This is an event that sells out quickly, so be sure to register online. Yoga Paint Party™ at CMOA takes place from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on October 26. Guests must be 18 or older.
