Women Who Rock have announced this year’s headlining act for their annual benefit concert! This past Tuesday, it was revealed that rock and roll singer/songwriter icon Melissa Etheridge will headline the 2024 show! What?!

This all-ages concert on Wednesday, August 28th at Stage AE benefits Magee-Women’s Research institute hospital. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 29th at 10am!

Women Who Rock founder Melinda Colaizzi has brought in an amazing list of performers over the years. Last year’s headliner was Anne Wilson of Heart. This year is sure to sell out!

Melissa Etheridge will take the stage, known for her passionate lyrics and powerful rock hits like “I’m the Only One,” “Come To My Window,” “I Want to Come Over,” and so many more. You’re probably singing them right now!

When she sings, you can feel it. She’s sold more than 25 million albums during her illustrious career. Just think of what it will be like to hear her live! The event hits home for Etheridge since she’s a breast cancer survivor.

Aside from the fantastic music and all female-fronted lineup, there’s so many exciting things to do during the event. Fans can enjoy the Beauty Bar, Rock Star Silent Auction, Pink Carpet Entrance (hosted by Natalie Bencivenga), and VIP Lounge + Gifting.

Margot Bingham will emcee this year, with a set from DJ Femi. Also, Michelle Michaels of WDVE will receive the Women Who Rock Impact Award (she has emceed the event every year!).

I’ve been to every WWR concert, and it’s always a great time. This year is seriously going to be the best yet. I mean, Melissa Etheridge is performing!
