Who says wine festivals only happen during the Summer and Fall?! Not Trax Farms! This great idea means winter just got even better. The annual Trax Farms Winter Wine Fest returns on Feb 22nd (12pm-4pm). You won’t have to travel far. The farm is located in Finleyville, 12 miles south of Pittsburgh on Route 88. Your Saturday is set!

Trax Farm Winter Wine Festival

The event has all the ingredients for an awesome time: amazing wines, delicious food trucks, and awesome live music. Yes! Your ticket gets you unlimited sampling, so yeah, get ready to fill up that wine glass–again, again, and again.

The current list of local wineries includes a strong variety: Arrowhead Wine Cellars, Wine O’Clock Somewhere, Christian Klay Winery, R Wine Cellar Urban, Bee Kind, Black Dog Wine Company, Arsenal Cider House, PK Winery, Greenhouse, La Vigneta Winery, and Kingview Mead. Might as well try them all; it’s only fair, right?

Along with the wine there’s great food trucks, and, well, it’s probably good to have a break anyway. Check out Pita My Shawarmer, Benvenuti Pizza, and PGH Crepes. Enjoy the fun atmosphere with live music by the Roger Barbour Band.

It’s a big year for Trax Farms–they are celebrating 150 years! The 7th generation of the family keeps it going strong, with 86,000 plus square feet of retail space, featuring 15 retail departments. Portion of the proceeds benefits Finleyville Food Pantry.
