With the holiday season fast approaching, everyone is scrambling to book travel, buy gifts, and get them wrapped before big day arrives.

This reality gave one Pittsburgh company an idea: Let’s spread some Pittsburgh pride and see if we can’t entice some folks to move back to the Burgh.

Move Home PGH

Deep Local Pittsburgh

That company is Deeplocal, an innovation studio based in Pittsburgh’s Strip District. Their plan includes designing Pittsburgh-themed wrapping paper that showcases the reasons your loved one should move home, like the fact that, right now, there are more than 1,000 homes listed on the market for less than $90k.

Now, we know what you’re thinking, “Hey, that’s a great idea! Where can I get some of this wrapping paper?”

Well here’s the thing, Deeplocal is so stoked on the idea of bringing people back home that they’ll wrap the gift for you. Seriously! If you have a friend that you’re trying to convince to move back home, stop by Deeplocal’s “Move Home PGH” free gift wrapping event outside of their office in the Strip District.

Who knows, you could even land them a job at Deeplocal, who’s hiring for 21 different positions. Working for a company that invents products and experiences for clients around the world, including Google, Netflix, and Old Navy, is one heck of reason to relocate back to the Burgh.
