Your weekend plans just got cooler! The 28th annual Fire & Ice Festival takes place January 13th-15th in Somerset. It’s a celebration of winter! We have all the details about this fun-filled all ages winter escape!

The weekend is jam packed with things to do! This year’s theme is Jurassic adventure on ice. If you like dinosaur ice sculptures you’ve come to the right place. Wait until you see this up close–there will be 52 ice sculptures with a prehistoric theme! Not to mention, there’s an awesome fireworks show on Friday!

Aside from the awe-inspiring sculptures, be sure to check out the indoor marketplace, carriage rides, ice slide, and photo scavenger hunt. Winter is fun!

You’ll be able to warm up with a variety of food trucks: Pappy D’s, Stairs in Town, Mountain Kettle Corn, Twisted Potato, Rollie Pollie Egg Roll, Forlini’s Kitchen, Rosalinda’s Express.

Embrace winter and local drinks. Don’t miss the Fireside Lounge! Local brews include: Tall Pines Distillery, WhiteHouse Brewery, Glades Pike Winery, Rusty Musket Distilling Co, Trailhead Brewing.

Other activities include a model railroad club train display, 25th annual Fire & Ice 5k walk/run, used book sale, and the Hot Stuff Chilli & Seasonal Soup Cook-Off! Tasty!

Enjoy live performances throughout the weekend! Friday’s lineup includes JD & Cindy, Whitehorse Band. Saturday has Zay and Tay Band, Tim Roberts, Leash Kat Daddies. Sunday concludes with Upper Ursina Collective.
