Find your lucky gear for a St Patty’s season from home

St. Patrick’s Day kicks off on Wednesday, March 17 with its global celebration, and though it may look a [little] different this year in Pittsburgh [again], there are still ways to represent the green tones and tributes of Pittsburgh Irish heritage. You don’t have to look far and wide for a pot of gold goodies in the Burgh. Let’s keep the luck alive and head to the Strip District while checking out a couple o’ other gems below:

Find some four-leaf clover-covered gear at sporting goods store, Pgh P Sports, from emerald green t-shirts, hoodies, and ball caps at affordable prices. With shamrocks floating around on prints and terrible towels, there is something to uncover here without looking too hard to find something truly unique.

Happy St. Patty’s Day ya filthy jagoff! Stop by Yinzers Outlet for its seasonal St. Patty’s selection of Pittsburgh Irish-themed t-shirts and more showcased on its selling tables outside. Located at the inside counter, find green handkerchiefs, beaded necklaces, socks, beanies, face art, neck gaiters, and decorative headgear to mix and match accessories.

Black and Gold Forever has more colors this good luck season with green t-shirts available to peruse on the sidewalk outside. As a safety bonus, the store is selling soft-material, Irish masks for $3. Who says you can’t [sham]rock black and green while running some errands any day of the week?

The Wild Geese Band

Turn the volume up and wake up to The Wild Geese Band, Pittsburgh’s premier Irish band. Spirited, upbeat, and tuned into their Irish heritage, the Irish American band has been going strong for over 20 years and embraces the Irish way every day. Listen to The Wild Geese Band tracks on SoundCloud, and support the band by buying some merch! Currently, the band is working on revamping its online store, but anyone can go to The Wild Geese Band website, Facebook, or Instagram to request a t-shirt, sticker, cap pin, flask, scarf, or face mask. From there, one of the members can make arrangements to ship it to you. If you feel like venturing out safely for some live entertainment, you can find the band playing at The Crafthouse Stage & Grill this Wednesday, St. Patrick’s Day.
