Love is in the air! Pittsburgh might still be freezing, but things are heating up with Galentine’s Day being right around the corner!
Let’s be real, we love celebrating Valentine’s Day with that special someone, but celebrating Galentine’s Day with your best girlfriends is always way more fun. Seriously, what is better than a girls night out, right? Boy bye!
Wednesday, February 13th 2019 – grab all your gal pals and head to Heinz History Center in partnership with Pittsburgh Yoga Events & Athleta for Galentine’s Day Moonlight Yoga from 6pm-9pm.
Join Sarah Reed-Lieb, certified vinyasa yoga instructor in a one hour flow, focusing on heart-opening poses. This session is for all yogi levels. After, sip on a moon-inspired cocktail and enjoy space-themed snacks all while having after-hours access to the Smithsonian’s Destination Moon: The Apollo 11 Mission exhibition, featuring the original command module Columbia. Don’t forget your Galentine’s Day gear! We highly suggest coming decked out in pink, red, purple and hearts of course. Who doesn’t love a good theme?
Tickets are $25 and also include one raffle ticket for the chance to win some must-have items for your yoga practice, compliments of Athleta. A Galentine’s Day candy bar station, and a 10%-off coupon to the History Center Museum Shop. Event goers must be at least 21 so don’t forget your photo ID!
This will be the best Galentine’s Day yet!
