What’s better than mouth watering ribs and the return of football season? Nothing! You can enjoy this glorious occasion at Heinz Field for the annual Rib Festival, which takes place Sept 2nd – 6th. Take in the fresh aroma from the best ribs in the country! Ahh, soo good! The event also features festival foods, games, rides, activities for all ages, and the Steeler experience!

Get ready to enjoy a delicious selection of award winning national rib vendors! They are ready to compete for the coveted title. This is big. Returning favs include last year’s winner Fine Smoke, along with finalists Carolina Rib King, Big Boned BBQ, and people’s choice winner Bad Azz BBQ. Because they really are Bad Azz!

Do you have a past favorite rib vendor that you can’t wait to try again? Maybe it’s your first time and you don’t know which one to choose. Either way the official list of rib vendors includes Armadillos, Big Boned Ribs (2018 Best Ribs 2nd place), Cowboys BBQ & Rib Co., Howling Coyote BBQ, Jack on the Bone, Johnsons BBQ, Off the Bone BBQ, Old Carolina BBQ Company (2018 Best Sauce), Pigfoot BBQ (2018 Best Ribs), Ribbons BBQ, Smokin’ T’s BBQ, Texas Pit Barbeque (2018 Best Ribs 3rd place). Fans can claim free tickets to the show 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Stage AE tent set up on the festival grounds while supplies last.
