The Western Pennsylvania Lamb Fest returns this Sunday, October 24th , 2021, from 1 – 5:30 p.m., and is ramming its way to a new location in SouthSide Works with an all-star chef lineup. Eight chef teams from 25 restaurants will compete by forging their way to the top through the flair and finesse of using locally sourced lamb and ingredients, thanks to Farm to Table Buy Local, to win the People’s Choice Award. What do you have to do? Eat, enjoy, and vote, of course! 

In its 4th year, the outdoor culinary event sparks the sizzle of elegant yet mouthwatering flavors from Pittsburgh’s favored places to eat including Umami, COBRA, Round Corner Cantina, The Vandal, The Speckled Egg, and much more.

The following teams will battle it out to showcase the beauty of lamb: Kristin Butterworth (Nemacolin), Julio Peraza (COBRA, Round Corner Cantina), Curtis Gamble (Station), and Jacqueline and Nathan Schoedel (The Speckled Egg). Newcomers include Joey Hilty (The Vandal), Steven Felder (Stagioni), Simon Chough and Greg Smith (Soju), Rafael Vencio (AmBoy Farm), Bryant Smalley (The Peak), Tyler Hutchinson (Aqueous), Gary Marshall (Umami), John Chiusano (Rockwell’s), Fiore Moletz (Burgh’ers Brewing, Della Terra Italian Bistro) and more.

Plus, the self-proclaimed, “The Most Hated Players,” Derek Burnell (Umami, COBRA, Round Corner Cantina), Roger Li (Umami, Parlor Dim Sum, NanBan), and Dan Kern (Ronin) will be back at it again serving up the competition. Did we mention these chefs are the celebrated victors from all three previous years? Hence the name…

Tickets are available for $75 in advance and include entry to the event and tastings from the eight chef teams. VIP tickets come with their perks, too, for $150, and both Western Pennsylvania Lamb Fest tickets can be purchased here.
