It was anything but a cruel summer. Fans are still coming down off the high that was Taylor Swift’s Eras tour.

One of the great things about being a Swiftie? There’s always exciting news! Taylor Swift kept up that tradition by surprising fans with the announcement of her official Eras Tour movie coming to theaters. The concert film debuts October 13th – Taylor’s favorite number of course!

It’ll Be an Enchanted Experience

As a huge fan myself (I was lucky enough to attend the Eras show with a press pass and write about it!), I can only imagine what the movie theater screens and state of the art surround sound will do for the film.

This will give fans a spectacular look at the concert, allowing for a front row seat to the insane set list and awe-inspiring stage design. It’s a lot to digest, popcorn and all.

“The Eras Tour has been the most meaningful, electric experience of my life so far and I’m overjoyed to tell you that I’ll be coming to the big screen soon…Eras attire, friendship bracelets, singing and dancing encouraged.”

The tour has grossed over $2 billion so far. Now, the movie is breaking movie theater records, with $26 million in first-day sales according to AMC. Opening weekend alone could garner $100 million according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Get your Eras outfit ready and reserve your seats now! Theaters will have special memorabilia too. While supplies last, AMC will offer a free official mini poster and an official Eras popcorn tub and collectible cup.

Whether you’re reliving the show or experiencing it for the first time, this is going to be an incredible experience. To help with the craziness, here’s a list of local movie theaters showing the film!
