A night of cookies and candles–it’s going to be scent-sational! This is your chance to make your very own scented candle, along with decorating some delicious cookies. The Candle Lab in Pittsburgh will be hosting the event on October 25th. It’s a very Fall thing to do–we have all the details!

The night begins with pouring your own custom-scented 8oz candle. You can choose from a variety of fragrances, some of which include: lavender fields, dark chocolate, incense, leather, burnt sugar, lilac, and so many more. Around 120 to be precise! So yeah, there are options. Not sure which ones to pick? Scent stylists will help you narrow it down to a few that blend together perfectly. Afterwards, you’ll design your label and mix your oils, creating your very own unique custom scent, which you’ll pour and stir. Always remember–candle with care!

Once you make your candle, you can begin decorating some awesome cookies. The Call Me Crazy Cookie Lady will teach you how to decorate a half dozen cookies. It’s the basics of cookie decoration–you don’t have to be an expert or anything. You will specifically learn about royal icing, piping, the use of tipless bags, outlining and flooding, and wet on wet icing skills. Who knew how specific it could be!

How cool will it feel to have your very own souvenir candle?! It’s a fun night that will be sure to provide some interesting moments with friends. Regardless of how the candle turns out, it’s the memory that counts! It’s also BYOB, so be sure to bring your own drinks! Might as well bring some wine or beer while you create your candle masterpiece, it could help in the creative process. Let the fun begin! 

Your $55 ticket includes your custom 8oz candle and 6 hand decorated cookies. Space is limited, first come first serve.
