Craft Beer and Fall go together like firepits and s’mores. Typically this time of year you’d find us gathering shoulder-to-shoulder at Oktoberfests while jamming to oompah music, but you may have noticed that this year is a bit different. But just because it’s different doesn’t mean we still can’t enjoy some of the usual Oktoberfestivities!
We started drinking this season’s fall-tastic beverages in August. Because: Beer. Tasty pumpkiny, browny, Oktoberfesty, and apple cidery goodness that we just can’t get enough of for 3 months. And while drinking alone now is totally socially(distanced) A-OK, we are loving the looks of this upcoming event from Beverages2U called “Beer Fest2U”!
Pittsburgh-based Beverages2U has teamed up with Premier Connects to get you a case of real hold-in-your-koozie beer to enjoy during a virtual Beer Fest.
Sign up by October 9 and they will send you a case of 24 limited-edition, select seasonal craft beers (and exclusive collabs!) from the participating breweries –including Hitchhiker Brewing, Penn Brewery, Troegs, Great Lakes, North Country Brewing and more!
Your beers will then be paired with a live-stream, interactive event on Saturday, October 24 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. There will be brewmasters from the participating craft breweries, guided tastings, interactive talkbacks, live band performances, and even celebrity guests like Pittsburgh Dad, IceBurgh, Steve Blass, and Flavor Flav.
The time is right to bring everyone together in Pennsylvania, at a time when we all could use a cold beer and a little fun.

Whether you are partying solo or ready to host a small, socially-distant party with 3 of your Oktoberbest friends there are options for you:

And in the sharitable nature of prime outdoor beer-drinking season, a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Pittsburgh Virtual Tip Jar and the Philly Virtual Tip Jar to help support those in the service industry who have been affected by COVID-19 closures.
