Best Bites Pittsburgh is back and you won’t want to miss the chance to take your taste buds on a tour! This event includes tastings at a variety of restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh. Each featured restaurant will be offering their best bite with custom cocktail stations along the way. It’s your chance to fall in love with all that the city has to offer. For those traveling in for the event, and those of you who want a city “staycation” The Industrialist Hotel will be offering a special hotel rate for attendees.

Grand Tasting Ticket
For just $60, this ticket includes all Best Bites food and drink tastings at 15 restaurant and drink stops along the tour. Only 300 tickets will be sold so don’t miss out, they will sell quick!
Event Details
- Enjoy a day of tastings at 15 Downtown restaurants throughout Downtown Pittsburgh.
- In addition to enjoying the bites along the way, guests receive specialty drink samples at the given cocktail spots placed along the tour as well as a full drink at one of the stops!
- Purchase tickets by October 12 to receive the ticket packet by mail. Packets include an official ticket lanyard to wear on the tour, restaurant map, starting point assignments and tasting instructions.
- Guests will be assigned different restaurant starting points in small groups like a golf scramble to create social distancing along the tour (we recommend buying tickets together for those of you wanting to travel together, if that’s not possible, just add something to the special request section when purchasing).
- Restaurants on the tour will be marked with sidewalk signage and balloons. Guests present their lanyards to receive a tasting at each stop.
- After a day of tasting, guests vote for Best Bite and Best Tasting experience. Awards will be presented to the winners.

Alihan’s Mediterranean Cuisine
ALihan’s Mediterranean Cuisine is a family owned restaurant serving the best Turkish Cuisine in downtown Pittsburgh. They have curated homemade meals from hand-picked ingredients, promising the quality of the meal does not contain any processed items or preservatives. The menu is an array of Turkish dishes as well as Greek, Italian, and Middle-Eastern influences. Alihan’s gives you the opportunity to experience traditional cuisines without the travel.
The Allegheny HYP Club has been around since 1930, it now is the cumulative merger of three premier clubs that helped shape Pittsburgh: The Harvard Yale Princeton Club, The Pittsburgh Club and The Allegheny Club. The historic venue is filled with elegant furnishings and works of art. Their menu includes an assortment of go-to favorites and unique staples.
Emporio Meatball is a well-known spot in downtown Pittsburgh. They offer a variety of 4 meatball bases to choose from, one being a vegetarian option! The next step in your dining experience with Emporio is to choose one of their 10 sauces. Lastly, navigate if you want your meal traditional style over pasta or to switch things up and add it on a bun or bed of fries! Not only are they doing amazing work in their kitchen, Emporio is well known for their charitable fundraising to help serve its community
Fogo de Chao is best known for its Brazilian-inspired small plates and award-winning wines and cocktails. The founders of Fogo de Chão got their start in their hometown, Serra Gaucha. It is there that they learned to cook in churrasco grilling tradition. They worked hard to perfect their craft and began opening restaurants. They had their first debut in the US, in Dallas and to our delight have expanded to right here in Downtown Pittsburgh!
Harris Grill is known for its unique and trendy atmosphere. It’s the go-to place to grab a drink and good quality food. Their menu has something for everyone, inclusive and adaptive to all dietary requirements. As for the drink menu, they promise that, “there’s something fresh, fruity, frothy, or funky in a frosty glass waiting for you.”
The Milkshake Factory is every yinzer’s trusty source when they’re craving something sweet. Whether it’s a hand spun shake, craft sundae, or a piece of gourmet chocolate, they’ve got you covered. The family has been in the sweets business since 1914 and knows a thing or two. They pass on traditions that make all of our lives a bit sweeter.
Millie’s is another Pittsburgh sweets staple! Whether it’s running to your local grocery store for a pint, hunting down the Millie’s truck, or stopping in at one of their store locations, you always feel the positive effects of Millie’s mission to #spreadlove in the community. Pizzaiolo Primo is known for its authentic Neapolitan Cuisine. The spot located in Market Square offers a stunning European ambiance with traditional Tuscan themes. The Rebel Room at The Industrialist
The Rebel Room has been said to be influenced by the movers and shakers of Pittsburgh. The set up includes a well lit room filled around the bar. They serve flavorful American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and feature a mixology program you won’t want to miss out on.

The Standard Market & Pint House
The Standard Market & Pint House in the Cultural District is best known for its passion around the food it delivers to its customers. The Market includes a full service espresso bar, hot teas, fresh smoothies & juices, and quick made to order foods for breakfast & lunch.
The Pint House brings a unique take on an interactive bar experience. They offer a full-service bar, self-serve tap system that allows you to take on local craft beers, wines, and cocktails.
