Take Your Practice Outdoors
Although fall is quickly approaching, there’s still no better time than now to get outside. Enjoy the beautiful end-of-summer weather in an outdoor yoga class!
Yoga in the Square, presented by the Downtown Pittsburgh Partnership, includes free weekly classes on Tuesdays and Sundays in Market Square. They feature some of the city’s most acclaimed yoga instructors. Yoga in the Square offers classes (weather permitting) until October 10th. Enjoy different styles of yoga practices for a variety of skill levels!
For those who can’t make the journey downtown, 3 Rivers Outdoors Co., Pittsburgh Innovation District, and the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy have teamed up to host “pay what you feel” yoga classes in Schenley Plaza. These classes take place every other Thursday at 5:30 pm until October 19th.
National Yoga Awareness Month Studio Specials
New (and returning) yoga enthusiasts can take advantage of special deals that select yoga studios are offering throughout the month!
YogaSix South Hills in Mt. Lebanon is offering free introductory classes, an unlimited yoga pass for $79, and a 25% off sale on mats, blocks, straps, and more!
In addition to YogaSix, most Pittsburgh yoga studios offer free or discounted rates for first time goers. Looking for a studio near you? We recommend Yelp’s list of Top 10 Best Yoga Classes compiled based on customer ratings.
