As Valentine’s Day is here, I personally have jewelry on my mind. Although Valentine’s Day may seem like a Hallmark holiday, I always use Valentine’s as an excuse to practice self-love.

Whether we’re treating ourselves or buying things for friends or loved ones, we’re lucky to have so many talented jewelers in Pittsburgh. There is truly something magical for everyone! 

Here are some of my favorite local, woman-owned jewelry haunts where I like to pick up little treasures: 

Skelton Jewelry

Skelton Jewelry is truly a one of a kind place. Sam Skelton makes everything from edgy silver rings, to beautiful statements cuffs, to the most delicate, gorgeous engagement ring. You can rest assured that your pieces are designed with intention, love, and care on-site, in her Lawrenceville shop.

Horsethief

Horsethief, created by Elizabeth Sánchez, a Spanish American jeweler, was founded in 2015. Elizabeth specializes in handcrafted fine silver jewelry, such as cuffs, necklaces, rings, and earrings. Her jewelry is produced sustainably, with ethically mined stones, and recycled silver.

Blakbird Jewelry

Blakbird Jewelry was founded in 2015 by Semila. Blakbird Jewelry boasts a small collection of stunning, geometrical earrings and cuffs. All of the pieces are lovingly created out of brass and recycled aluminum in Pittsburgh.
