By now you’ve probably heard that Google, Uber, and Apple are all setting up shop in Pittsburgh.

Well, you can go ahead and add another tech giant to the list of companies helping redefine the “Steel City”. Because Facebook is opening an office dedicated to Oculus Rift and virtual reality research in the Pittsburgh neighborhood of Oakland.

According to a report published by VentureBeat a spokeswoman from Oculus confirmed the lease. This news comes on the heels of a report from the Pittsburgh Business Times confirming that Facebook had signed a lease for a 20,000-square-foot office at Schenley Place.

Although there’s no indication as to when Facebook’s Pittsburgh office will open, the company is already seeking candidates for an Oculus-focused, Pittsburgh-based software engineer position. Know anyone?
