Sergio Pampena Sr. immigrated from Spigno Spinium, Italy to Pittsburgh in the early 1960’s. After working in a few shops in the city limits, he permanently settled in Dormont in 1970. With a credible reputation, generations of local families have based Sergio’s as their home salon. Sergio Jr., following in his father’s footsteps, took over the salon in 2007 after years traveling the world as a Paul Mitchell platform artist.

Sergio’s Style (2891 W. Liberty Ave) is devoted to each client’s experience and provides each guest with superb customer service, a signature style, and a safe space to relax and recharge. The salon stylists stay on top of current hair trends. They are also able to provide their clients with a diverse and vast service menu. All things hair and bridal services have become staples in the salon. Since the beginning, over 50 years ago, and continuing today, Sergio’s has been an important partner to the community of Dormont. They support causes important to the area and also participate in local events.
