Have your own happy hour–there’s a new brewery in town! Trace Brewing in Bloomfield will have you enjoying all the IPA’s, all winter long. The local brewery opened in December and was recently named Hop Culture’s top ten best breweries to watch in 2021! Let’s take a look at the beer list!

Waveside and Moonpond!

It might be winter but it can feel like summer. Ride the waves with Waveside–the IPA (6.5%) features notes of grapefruit pina colada with Sabro and Cascade hops. If you want to sit back and gaze at the stars, go with the Moonpond. The spaced out IPA (6.6%) is filled with hints of papaya and peaches with Galaxy and Columbus hops. Okay, we are thirsty now!

New Beer Alert!

They recently announced new beers! Always a good thing. You can try A Change is Gonna Plum (4.8%), which is a kettle sour brewed with plum and apricot. Another great option is the Tessellated Paradise (6.5%) IPA, brewed using Mosaic hops, featuring blueberry and citrus notes. You can also enjoy Valentine’s Day with Love is the Way (7.0%), brewed with Citra and Galaxy hops, along with notes of lychee, passionfruit and gooseberry. Love is in the beer!

Head brewer Zach Coloton talked about the exciting opportunities for the new brewery on the Trace Brewing facebook page.

“Something I’ve always enjoyed about being part of a brewery at the beginning is the choices we’re making now set in motion all these long term projects that lead to having a wider range of beer available for ALL kinds of beer drinkers.”
