When it comes to restaurants, Pittsburgh’s options are on point. Need help deciding which spot to check out next? We’ve got you covered.
Revel + Roost is a two-story dual-concept American bar and eatery in Downtown’s Market Square, offering two distinct menus and experiences in one building.
Revel is the sophisticated, cocktail-centric lounge you’ve probably noticed while strolling around Market Square. Street-level, this restaurant offers an all-day menu of communal American cuisine with a twist. For example, you’ve had chicken and waffles, but have you had fried quail and waffles? If that’s not your thing, treat yourself to a “Revel Burger,” an indulgent signature burger stuffed with Revel’s signature BBQ braised short ribs and house-made bacon. With live music every Friday, distinctive cocktails and exciting new interpretations of American classics, Revel definitely turns heads.
But did you know that Roost, upstairs, is a totally different restaurant?
Roost trades energetic, dynamic vibes for a more upscale, indulgent experience. Wall-to-wall windows, rustic accents, and deep red color tones make the space feel like a chic lounge overlooking Market Square. The decadent menu changes seasonally, including gluten-free and vegetarian options, and is completely made-from-scratch. From the dough used in the vegetable dumplings to the andouille sausage in the gumbo, everything is made in-house.
Roost is the perfect place to grab dinner before an event in the Cultural District, offering a Theatre Menu for show-goers: fast-service and delicious 3- or 4-course options are available from a create-your-own prix fixe Theatre Menu.
No matter what you’re looking for in a restaurant – or even if you can’t decide what you want – Revel + Roost has the goods.
Reservations are recommended, especially for a coveted seat overlooking Market Square. See you there!
